1. Rental Agreement
By making a booking with 4 Seasons Car Hire CC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The rental agreement is between the renter (you) and 4 Seasons Car Hire CC (us).
2. Driver Requirements
All drivers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's licence that has been held for a minimum of 2 years. International visitors require an International Driving Permit in addition to their home country licence.
3. Vehicle Use
Vehicles must only be driven on public roads that are suitable for the vehicle type hired. 4x4 vehicles may be used on gravel roads; standard vehicles must not leave tarred roads. Driving into Mozambique or Zimbabwe requires prior written consent.
4. Insurance & Liability
All rentals include basic Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) subject to an excess. The renter is liable for all damage up to the applicable excess amount. Super CDW may be purchased to reduce the excess to zero.
5. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. Failure to return with a full tank will result in a refuelling charge at commercial rates plus an administration fee.
6. Late Returns
Vehicles must be returned by the agreed time and date. Late returns will be charged at 1.5x the daily rate for each additional day or part thereof.
7. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the rental start date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours forfeit the deposit. No-shows forfeit the full rental amount.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Western Cape.
